The DUT steps up the Game to tackle urban Challenges.

“Engaging Citizens in Climate Action” was the name of this Urban Lunch Talk, in which participants discussed relevant and riveting concepts such as citizen science and trust, which are crucial for any kind of transformative participatory method. The two different types of resilience (reactive and inherent) were illustrated as well as the importance of art-based methods and the empowerment of cultural agents.
This is precisely the core aim of EMCCINNO project: exploring how Culture and Creative Industries (CCIs) can support and lead fair sustainable climate transitions.
“You can’t build resilience without community engagement” as it was said during the lunch talk and we couldn’t agree more 😉
We are looking forward to exchanging and learning from Driving Urban Transitions partnership (DUT) and its partners vast experience on climate change action and how to involve the community.

Urban Lunch Talk is part of a webinar series that aims to inspire collaborative efforts and practical solutions that can drive sustainable transitions in urban policies and practices. If you missed it, check out their YouTube Channel here.
